Foundation: Mining Tech Tier I (9.5 Credit Hours)

Focus: Entry-level skills and industry safety

Get grounded in the fundamentals of the aggregate industry with coursework in general geology, first aid, and an introduction to mining.

Classes include:

-General Geology
-First Aid
-Into to Mining

Pro Tip: Already have your 5000-23 New Miner training? You get automatic credit for the Intro to Mining class

Technical: Mine Tech Tier II (13 Credit Hours)

Focus: Technical skills and maintenance

Deepen your technical knowledge and build the hands-on maintenance skills that keep operations running.

Classes include:
-Conveyor Belt Maintenance
-Mining Law
-Mining Systems
-Technical Math

Includes Internship I — your current industry employment counts toward your required hours.

Leadership: Industrial Management Leadership (14 Credit Hours)

Focus: Technical and professional skills

Prepare to step into front-office and supervisory roles with training in management and communication.

Classes include:
-Personnel Management
-Intro to Business
-Public Speaking
-Manufacturing Processes

Includes Internship II — an advanced management-focused internship experience.
